From Our Garden To Yours

Forty-two years ago my husband and I started Native Sons Wholesale Nursery.  Many hardworking and knowledgeable individuals joined us in this undertaking. By observing plants in their native habitats, and planting in our garden we learned which ones stood the test of time. Throughout the years we imagined and dialogued about having a small retail space.  Not until after the pandemic began, did the time seem fortuitous.  With “Pop-ups” and Farm Stands becoming a popular way to shift a business direction and at the same time offer an outdoor space for families, individuals and couples to spend an hour or two selecting plants that will enhance their home environment.  Betty’s Field Farm Stand is named after one of our neighbors, an elder and matriarch of the community. The Farm Stand features perennials, shrubs, ferns, trees, succulents, ground covers and grasses that are suitable for our semi-arid climate.
